This travel is really full of my “first’s”.
First to ride an airplane, first to ride on a train, and my first international travel!
It was a privilege to be part of our supplier’s “Dealer Travel Incentive” and just so fortunate and thankful to be one of the chosen representatives in the company that I am working.
I got this tour for free which I am so grateful for.
This 4-day tour is really a great experience indeed.
First day of the tour the weather was not good because it is raining and imagine at a 12-degree celsius noon time as we arrived! but this won’t avoid me to do a signature pose at the TAMSUI FISHERMAN’S WHARF or they call as Lover’s Bridge. This is where the river (fresh water) meets the sea (salt water).
Ironic for its name as “Lovers Bridge”, there is a common belief among locals that if you cross the bridge with your loved one, a break-up is sure to ensure.
Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf
Next spot for Day 1 was at the Tamsui Old Street , where you can choose and buy lots of goodies and souvenirs.
and good thing rain subside upon reaching the next spot the National Palace Museum and I did my signature pose.
Welcome to Taiwan!
Day 2.
Is indeed my favorite , because we spend longer time at Yangmingshan Cherry Blossom Watching. Cherry Blossom symbolizes life and death, and that we should enjoy our life at the present to its fullest like a cherry blossom petals that there’s a certain period that it bloom and die.
One thing made me happy seeing this cherry blossom was the thought that “Oh Really!” I’m in another country at last! because cherry blossom is not really common to see in Philippines due to our tropical weather.
Next was strolling around the Taipei 101 building.
And to the tea shop and next to Vigor Bakery and made our own DIY cake.
Then at night we went to Raohe St. Night Market through riding a train going to Songshan where lots of street foods displayed.
first to ride a train
Day 3.
We went to their known waterfalls – Shifen Waterfall, can really gave you a drop-jaw.
And next was the Sky Lantern Flying in Shifen.
And went to Yeliu Geological Park, it is a rock formation where the famous visited is the Queens Head, but currently queens head’s head now was really so thin that it was fear to vanished and broke 10years from now, so they made a replica of a Cute Princess.
other rock formation you can see is the Gorilla, it really looked like a gorilla from a distance through our wild imagination yet nearer sight of it was not a gorilla formed.
Day 4
It’s our last day in Taipei Taiwan and last destinations were the Longshan Temple and Chang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall.
Many people visit Longshan Temple to worship and ask their wishes. They have that coin that they tossed, if one is head and the other is tail it means your wish will be granted.
And last tourist spot was the Chang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall with 89 steps on their stairs for Chang Kai-Shek died at 89 years old.
This is really a great experience and a good start on my year 2018.
TAIWAN is really a good place for me to gain weight! Healthy and delicious food makes me wanna stay there a month or a year hehehe

Wow, you’re very blessed to have traveled for free. Anyway, I know before you were able to include on this incentive trip, you must have been working hard, and you really deserve of this reward. I really understand how you felt for this trip. I’m sure, you really had a great time abling around Taiwan.
I should have written my first international trip. Probably, in the next few months, I’ll surely write my experience as well.
